Dana Guillory is the Founder and Senior Personal Trainer of POTENTIAL REALIZED. She is an Army Veteran that has always believed in the power of potential and what it can empower an individual to accomplish once they realize and embrace it. She is an avid fitness professional who takes great pride in her client's accomplishments as well as her own. Having served more than 20 years in the military, she understands that being physically fit as well as mentally sharp are vital to leading a healthy and positive lifestyle. Her life and career experiences have helped mold her into a genuine, energizing and approachable individual. These traits are part of what allows her to not only relate to others on many levels, but also to be able to build a rapport resulting in inspiration, motivation and successfully transforming potential into realization. Her positive can-do attitude enables others to discover and value their uniqueness and build on their strengths and ultimately have their POTENTIAL REALIZED. As a public speaker, facilitator and coach, she has motivated thousands to make not only behavioral changes, but adapt lifestyle changes. Through her passionate delivery, Dana is able to captivate and impact the lives of her audience. Her dynamic, down to earth, open and honest personality, coupled with the understanding that speakers are the vital engines that keep audiences and attendees interested and engaged, allow for memorable audience take-aways and great content that aligns with the overall message. As a consultant, her key focus is on the integration of ideas, strategies, experiences, accountability, positive reinforcement and communication throughout the change process. Dana’s approach encourages one’s best practices and continuous improvement at the personal, group and organizational levels. Possessing an adaptive communications style and ability to draw out connections has proven powerful in her role as a personal trainer, group facilitator, individual coach and mentor, advisor and corporate executive consultant. Dana has partnered with a diverse range of clients, customers and organizations within the public and private sectors. This includes multinational organizations, federal agencies and nonprofit organizations. Dana’s educational accomplishments include earning a Master’s degree in Performance Improvement and certification as a Personal Trainer. She has also completed degrees and certification programs in Organizational Management, Security Management, and Senior Human Resources Management. In 2016, she was inducted into the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), receiving their Woman of the Year award. In early December 2017 she earned the title of Certified Veteran Fitness Operative (CVFO) through the FitOps Foundation. Through her partnership with the FitOps Foundation, she has helped impact the lives of other Veterans by facilitating their educational experience in becoming Certified Personal Trainers. Dana has earned inclusion into the esteemed Continental Who's Who organization and was awarded the Pinnacle Professional of the Year award for her accomplishments. As a result of this honor, there will be a permanent place for her in the Library of Congress. Most recently, Dana received the Outstanding Graduate of the Year award from Grantham University. On May 5, 2018, Dana competed in the Figure Division at the SouthEast Texas Championships where she earned 3 first place trophies for her performance. In her personal life Dana is married to her husband, Jon, and has three children. She also has a love for her community which is displayed by the countless hours she has spent volunteering her time at events for organizations advocating for our country's Veterans, ALS and cancer research. In her spare time, you can find Dana competing in running, swimming and bicycling races or bodybuilding. If you look up, you may see her honing her skills in her true passion, rock climbing.
Jon Guillory is the senior fitness advisor for POTENTIAL REALIZED. He is an all-around athlete with extensive knowledge of cardio, hydration, synchronicity, technique, injury prevention and adaptive workout methods. Having been a boxer since the age of 10, he knows how to condition one's body at every stage of fitness and can provide insight, training plans and advice for all individuals, regardless of fitness and experience level. He is an experienced, tough trainer and coach that attributes his success to holding others accountable and pushing them so they can realize their full potential and expand their self-limiting boundaries. He is a competitive athlete that participates in both individual and team sporting events such as road and trail running, road and mountain biking, softball and triathlons. He has competed in hundreds of races of all distances such as the Livestrong Challenge, Ragnar, Rock'n'Roll Marathon series, IronMan, and Capital to Coast to name a few. He has trained first responder staff both collectively and individually for participation in boxing events such as Guns and Hoses, where he is attributed to the Fire Department winning several years in a row. He has trained local company personnel for athletic competitions involving individual and relay races, bicycling rides, fitness rodeos and other events where coordination and fitness both physical and cardio are key. He has hosted running technique seminars, sparring sessions. He volunteers to assist those that have challenging circumstances that range from being a fitness newcomer to having a physical or mental situation where an alternate approach is needed. His passion for and belief in human potential allows him to continually pay it forward to others. His standard of quality instruction, coupled with the expectation of a high level of output, discipline and commitment from his clients provides consistent and challenging sessions. Jon has channeled his athletic talent so others can see their POTENTIAL REALIZED.
